The following terms of sale apply to all of our online sales.
Payment Methods
Cash (in person), certified check, bank transfers, or 3rd-party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid. Call us for more information.
Deposit
The successful high bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable deposit within 1 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.
Payment of Balance Due
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Additional Fees and Taxes
New York State Sales Tax County Rate: is applied if you live in New York State. Outside of NYS: you pay your local sales tax in your state.
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 non-refundable first payment is due when clicking "Buy It Now" option or within 24 hours of the end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end by wire transfer, bank certified check, cash, money order, or a bank loan.
If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
We accept trade-in vehicles from our customers who are buying one of our ebay listed vehicles. You must contact us by phone prior to the end of the auction for the trade-in to be considered, and you must be actively bidding on one of our vehicles. No trade-ins will be considered without being a winning bidder. This is all dependent on a test drive before any transaction is closed. The actual price can only be determined upon careful inspection of your vehicle.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
If you are not sure about something, please ask! Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale.
Please do not bid on this auction unless you are serious about owning this vehicle. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to eBay, and negative feedback will be posted.

From the North:
Take NYS Thurway (I-87) south to Exit 18 (New Paltz). After paying the toll, turn left at the traffic light onto Rte.299 West towards the town of New Paltz. Follow Rte. 299 through town (4 Traffic Lights) then turn left onto Rte 208 South. Follow Rte 208 south for 6 miles to Rte. 44/55 and Rte. 208. (845-255-7600) We are on the left
From the South:
Take NYS Thurway (I-87) North to Exit 17 (Newburgh-Stewart Airport) go through the toll and make the first right and proceed down the ramp to Rte. 300 North. Take I-84 East to Exit 5, (Maybrook) Which puts you on Rte 208 North. Follow Rte. 208 14 miles to Rte. 44/55. Ireland Corners Garage is on the right.
From the East:
(Newburgh/Beacon Bridge) Take I84 West, cross Newburgh Beacon Bridge and proceed to Exit 7n (Rte 300 North). Follow Rte. 300 north to the intersection of Rte. 300 and Rte.32, proceed straight though the intersection onto Rte 32 North. Follow for 9 miles then turn left at Rte. 44/55 West, town of Modena NY. Shipping:
How much does it cost to ship?
Generally $400 to $1000 (east of the Mississippi river) and $1000 to $1500 west of the Mississippi)
How long does it take to ship and what can go wrong?
Lots of variables all come into play (distance, weather, load timing and other variables). Also depends if you arrange for "ASAP" or less urgent. One to two weeks is the most common shipping times (sometimes as little as two - three days, others longer). We can discuss options over the phone easier.
Today, there is still a fair amount of cars sold on ebay shipped out of state . Shippers have this down to a science, like shipping milk to a grocery store. Pick a shipper that is reputable and is insured for damage in transit. They mark down any little mark on the vehicle before it ships, and we have to sign and agree to it. At the other end, the vehicle cannot have any marks, chips, dents, scratches not already noted (or it is the shipper responsibility).
Trade-in's:
Do you accept Trade-in's?
Yes, we accept trade-in vehicles from our customers who are buying one of our ebay listed vehicles. You must contact us by phone prior to the end of the auction for the trade-in to be considered, and you must be actively bidding on one of our vehicles. No trade-ins will be considered without being a winning bidder.
Extended Service Agreements.
Why do people buy them, are they all the same and what does Ireland Corners sell ?
Generally, if you want to drive worry-free, an Extended Service Agreement (ESA) is a good choice. Are they all the same, "Emphatically, NO!" So many companies in the past have collected monies, then "folded", that we extremely careful in this area. Beware of unknown Extended Service Agreement companies.
We highly recommend a select variety of ESA's depending on your requirements. We offer extended warrantys from Guardian, and Service Shield. Call or E-mail for quotes and coverage.
So you won the auction.... Now What?
1). The winning bidder must contact Ireland Corners Garage within 24 hours with a phone call (1-845-255-7600) or e-mail (info@irelandcorners.com) to start transaction (be sure to leave your contact phone numbers).
2). The winning bidder must send a $500 non-refundable deposit via Visa/MC, certified funds (cashier's check), paypal, or wire transfer to start transaction. This small deposit must be received no later than 24 hours after the auction ends.
3). In the period prior to pickup (or delivery), the buyer has 7 days from the end of the auction to; do inspections and, pay the remainder of the cost of the vehicle in full.
If the above items are not met within the allotted time frame, the vehicle may and will be available to all other buyers on a first come first serve basis. To summarize, winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours AND the deal must be consummated within 7 days from the closing day of the auction. Please notify us of any exceptions. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
Shipping
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company -

We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises.
If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.
Buyer's Inspection
Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. Ireland Corners has tried to disclose all information known about this
vehicle for auction. Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to
fail. Ireland Corners welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle
prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.
Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle description, this vehicle is being sold "as is". No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or
warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. Manufacturer's warranties may still apply. Extended warranties may be
available; please contact us for details.
Notice to Bidders
We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale.
Bid Retractions
Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end.
Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.
Negative Feedback Bidders
We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding.
Successful Bidder
The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes or he/she must contact Ireland Corners within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements.
Non-Paying Bidder
If the deposit is not received within 1 business days of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within
7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
